Surah Al Kausar With English Translation

Surah Al Kawthar is the 108th chapter of the Qur’an and is one of the shortest, consisting of just three verses. The Surah was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad as a message of divine favor and reassurance during a time when he faced opposition and loss.

The term “Al Kawthar” is often interpreted as a reference to a river or a fountain in Paradise, symbolizing an abundance of goodness and blessings granted to the Prophet. The Surah instructs the Prophet to maintain his devotion to Allah through prayer and sacrifice, reinforcing his connection to the divine. It concludes by stating that those who oppose the Prophet will ultimately be the ones cut off from all good, while he will be blessed with eternal favor and legacy.

This Surah is a reminder of Allah’s support for His messenger and serves as an assurance that despite challenges, divine blessings will prevail.

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ
