Surah Ar Rahman is the 55th chapter of the Qur’an, consisting of 78 verses. Known as “The Chapter of The Most Merciful,” it highlights God’s infinite mercy and blessings bestowed upon humanity and the universe.
The Surah repeatedly asks, “Which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?” as a reminder of the countless gifts God has provided, such as the creation of the heavens and the earth, human faculties, and sustenance. It contrasts the rewards of the righteous in Paradise with the consequences faced by those who deny God’s signs.
Surah Ar Rahman beautifully expresses the balance between God’s mercy and justice, urging reflection and gratitude. It is often recited for seeking blessings and acknowledging God’s generosity.
