Surah An Nas is the 114th and final chapter of the Quran, consisting of six verses. It is one of the two chapters known as the “Mu’awwidhatayn,” along with Surah Al Falaq, which are recited for seeking protection.
The chapter emphasizes seeking refuge in Allah from the evil whisperings of Satan and harmful influences that can affect one’s mind and heart. It highlights Allah’s sovereignty over all mankind and His role as the ultimate protector against spiritual harm.
Reciting this Surah is believed to offer protection from hidden dangers and negative thoughts

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
مَلِكِ النَّاسِ
إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ
مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ
مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
Surah An Nas English Translation
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
The Sovereign of mankind,
The God of mankind,
From the evil of the whisperer who withdraws,
Who whispers in the hearts of mankind,
Among jinn and among mankind.”
